Musical interlude of the day

St Gregory the Great's liturgical reform led to using plainsong, aka Gregorian chant, being used in the church...
Personally, I hate Gregorian chant, probably because we learned to sing it as kids.

So instead, I'm posting Hovharness's lovey song "The Prayer of St Gregory", written in honor of a different Gregory, St Gregory the Illuminator, the patron saint of Armenia...Hovharness describes it as "a prayer in darkness"...
