here in the Philippines, in the meanwhile, there is a lot of the pressure by the US on PNoy to allow artificial birth control to be promoted in our public clinics. This is actually about population control from above, not about choice from below, which is why(along with the moral problems) the Bishops and other churches and Muslim religious leaders are suspicious of the proposal.
