there is also a Ramayana podcast that I downloaded in the past and seemed to be quite well done...I will listen to it one of these days.And of course various versions of the miniseries are available on Youtube, if you aren't lucky enough to have an India based channel on your cable as we do. This is one version, but there are shorter cartoon versions there too.
No, I'm not into Indian literature yet...I'm still working on Homer and the Aeneid at the present...
But the Michael Wood History of India is on youtube....but it's worth buying if you want to see it in detail and don't get the BBC on your cable network.
