Seeing the headlines, our cook comments that "gloria" now has her own TV station.

ABS-CBN tends to be liberal, as does the Phil Inquirer, but the Manila Bulletin supports the pro business types here, and no matter how much you want to say against our lovely ex president (and I could say a lot if there wasn't a law against libel) you have to admit she was good for businessmen here.

The gov't is hoping for amnesty for 600 OFW jailed for petty crimes in Saudi.

for example:
... Monterona said there are some 200 OFWs currently jailed in Malaz. These prisoners have been serving sentences mostly for crimes like possession of liquor or other drugs, gambling, and mingling with unrelated members of the opposite sex at private parties.

not mentioned if those released include those jailed for the crimes of attending prayer services or cross dressing parties.
