My daughter in law just reported she planted a rhubarb plant. I used to have one in my garden when I lived in the US: It was beautiful, and the kids would munch on the stalks sometimes, but I was always too lazy to make it into pies or jelly.

But SweetSassafras has a recipe for Rhubarb smothies that looks lucious.

no, we don't have rhubarb here in the Philippines, although Market Manila spotted some locally grown rhubarb in Manila...
