and yesterday Lolo bought a new rice cooker just for us (we usually get the reheated lunch rice since we tend to eat earlier than the staff, before the huge pot of rice for supper is done)

Since cooking rice is considered a skill of housewives, our cook Dita has "accidentally" managed to burn out three large rice cookers in three years because she considers them an insult to her skill as a cook. But we bought a small rice cooker, only good for four cups, so we can have our own freshly cooked rice.
