Is this medical treatment, or just new age faith healing?
I suspect the latter, because no side effects or problems mentioned, and even placebos have side effects.
Another question: what about the dangers of envoking the "monsters of the id"...
we saw a lot of this in the "free drug" folks of the 1960's, which is why even the hippies stopped using hallucinogens.
