Green news: Growing algae for fuel in New Mexico??
well, I hate to say this, but if Monsanto is involved maybe it's a viable company. Idealists may invest in green energy, but only greedy capitalists will make thing that actually work.

women spend longer in labor now than 50 years ago.
I can think of several reasons not noted in the study, including that there are a lot more first babies especially in older women. First babies take longer to deliver. 50 years ago the average number of kids was four, now it's two...and of course babies may now be larger (better nutrition, less smoking by moms).
