Condi as VP?

Sounds good to me. She's competent, and has good judgement: And political pundits often forget that people often will vote for those they disagree with because they trust their judgement (which is why the same Minnesotans could vote for the honest leftist Paul Tsongas and libertarian Jesse Ventura).

 But then I'm a Democrat. The far right (e.g. Free Republic) is frothing at the mouth at the idea, which only makes the idea more attractive to mainstream voters.

But, alas I agree with the Anchoress: It would result in the release of racist smears against her that would make the anti Mormon smears against Romney look tame. Instapundit agrees.
