The worldwide obesity epidemic is probably due to less exercize and more food, but I always wondered if plastics might have turned on Metabolic syndrome too...
I always ignored the crazy theory that obesity might be infectious, but now this article suggests the link might be between gut bacteria and the immune system. that could cause not only irritable bowel syndrome but metabolic syndrome.
