Stuff below the fold

From Instapundit:

HEY, WAIT, I THOUGHT THOSE WERE FIGMENTS OF DICK CHENEY’S IMAGINATION: “Britain will help the Iraqi government dispose of what’s left of deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s chemical weapons, still stored in two bunkers in north of Baghdad..."
CARDINAL TO RAHM EMANUEL: So what exactly are “Chicago Values.” I think it’s all about the Benjamins, with a veneer of moralizing to fool the rubes.

one brownout in India is probably just due to carelessness, but two brownouts?

Ya think it might be the Chinese hackers sending India a warning not to help VietNam fight the bullies?

But that part about no one having power is a bit hysterical: I suspect most middle class Indians have their own generator, just like most middle class Filipinos. (because local brownouts happen all the time).

First the Batman murder, and now the Grey trilogy/Dexter murder.?

Another day, another storm...low pressure area may hit later today, while Manila is still recovering from the flooding from the last storm...

The Roads in Manila are still flooded, and Ruby's camp meeting in Laguna postponed again for fear of flooding.

We are fine: The storms hit south and north of here....

In Brazil, the drug dealers are going to stop selling crack in the neighborhoods that they run...

(they still sell other drugs but) those other drugs, they said, don't seem to cause the same social problems in the favelas they control.

The latest Bourne Legacy, without Matt Damon, is premiering... it was partly filmed in Manila and Palawan.
