BI nabs US fugitives

two women fugitives caught by immigration in a remote house in Cebu:

Arrested by the BI's fugitive search unit are Lucretia Beth Brown, 45, and Andrea Jaine London, 51.

Brown and London will then stand trial before a US district court in eastern Texas. The Texas court had issued warrants for their arrest.

"Although the US embassy did not provide details about their crime, it appears that the women were employed by a gun store which they defrauded before fleeing to the Philippines," the BI said.  Although the US embassy did not provide details about their crime, it appears that the women were employed by a gun store which they defrauded before fleeing to the Philippines," the BI said.
so what's going on? Not that many US fugitives come here, because they don't blend in unless they are FilAms or sexual predators who have contacts from previous visits who will hide them.

someone with the name London is linked to a company listed as a newspaper (or maybe a management consultant company) in one east Texas town.

whatever they do it is quite profitable for rural Texas: revenues last year reported to be 250 000 dollars.

other data shows that the "Third Kingdom I" has had a different name: African-Kingdom.

so why does it say they were working for a gun store?

makes me wonder if it was related to this...
because the Philippine Journal notes:

Atty. Ma. Antonette Mangrobang, BI spokesperson and intelligence chief, said both aliens were charged with conspiring to conceal records, making false statements and not reporting multiple sales of a company where they had previously worked.
