UKMail has the backstory of the birth mother complaining they "made" her give her two daughters up for adoption because of her addiction problem. Uh, sure.
Grandparents or relatives taking care of children who need a home is common in the black community (and also among the poor whites and AmerIndians who were my patients.) Usually it is because mom is too young to raise a child, and sometimes it is temporary, but alas too often it is permenent because mom is addicted to drugs.
In Biles case, her grandparents essentially they raised the child from age 6 so are the "real" parents, no matter what the snobs post on twitter. (in case you didn't know: Adoption is not PC among the elites: it implies there is a third choice for moms with problem pregnancies).
but the UK Mail does have a photo of her (adoptive) parents.
