Still raining on and off here.
Chano and I are watching Strange Things 2. Lots of LOTR, and other 1980s references. And all the characters (even the stupid jock in season one) decide to fight it on various levels.
Imagine a film with people who chose to do the right thing? Of course this is in the 1980's so I guess they haven't learned the "ME Me ME" of the 1980s and 1990's yet.
Myself, I am sick and tired of films showing beautiful cookie cutter actors and actresses playing cliche romances and having angst about life, while the ordinary "Despicable" are portrayed as hypocrites or worse.
It is so bad I can't even watch the PG Hallmark channel films, because the characters are beautiful cliches. What, no one in these films are overweight or have crooked teeth, or are nerdy (except for the now PC "asperger" characters, who are also cliches.).
And thy wonder why the Marvel universe are the only movies making money? (Thor was shown here before it opened in the US but I did't see it: Action films are always popular overseas and make money).
In other news: Windows is doing an update, so my computer is slow....very slow.
It's done the same update four times so far and didn't manage to do it. I "fixed" the problem in troubleshooter, and then it didn't dow load again twice.
So I have mainly been reading the news on my tablet, and I can't blog from there.
in other news:
