Philippine news

another day, another typhoon.

Should hit north of here: Our danger is flooding from heavy rains and run off of the rain from the mountains north of here.

and in our prayers: The Americans who are evacuating before the storm hits in the Carolinas.

a typhoon also hit Guam.

and although it didn't seem to be in the news, a major typhoon hit Osaka. Their airport is on an artificial island in the bay, and was shut for awhile.

so global warming? No. These hurricanes/typhoons hit all the time.

and of course, a typhoon was why the Mongols never managed to take over Japan.

the low rice supply is still a problem here and the worry is a typhoon could knock out our almost ripe crop.

sigh.
