I had heard Asia Bibi had found asylum in Canada with her family, but now AlJ says that the authorities are stopping her from leaving even though the courts said she could.

the spin on late term abortion of babies who could live outside their moms is criticizing those who say they are killing babies, including pointing to the remark of the Pediatric neurologist who is governor of Virginia. The "fact checkers' say they aren't killing babies, but if you read what the governor said, it implied if the kid was born alive, they would not "resuscitate it" or treat it if mom didn't want the kid to be treated.

Fact check: what the governor describes often means putting the kid into the utility room with the medical waste until it dies of hypothermia, not cutting it's spinal cord a la Gosnell, so technically their fact check is true.

The fine line between rejecting treatment that won't work and providing only comfort care and not aggressively treating a person (not just babies but the handicapped and elderly) is a delicate line, but I won't bore you with the nuances here, or relate many sorrowful stories of those I have cared for.
