Ruby is back. Every time she leaves her bedroom, the dogs all bark at her but they are settling down now.
The men came to clean my airconditioner. It had been weak, probably because the dirt from the street tends to clog up the condenser. It is now working, and as soon as they left, George, our half blind Labrador, felt the cool air coming out of the bedroom and came in to sleep a bit here.
Kuya is busy with the farm.
Joy is going for a trip with her farmers (sub contracted) and took Ruby along. Sort of a party type meeting at a resort with swimming... before the monsoon comes in force and they'll be busy planting rice.
Did I already write that in the last few weeks, when we shop, we are getting paper bags (and boxes for heavy groceries)? the boxes are because the bags tend to rip when wet.
Must be politically correct. Of course, plastic bags clog the drainage ditches and even contribute to local flooding when they clog up. (they accumulate in the dry season then get washed en mass when the rain hits.).
