I'm a Democrat, and the party won seats in Congress in the last election because they ran conservative Democrats, many who had military or CIA backgrounds, in swing districts. No one gives a damn about over a million Muslims actually in Chinese concentration camps, half a million Muslim Rohingya thrown out of Burma and living miserably in poverty stricken Bangladesh, or the millions of refugees, both Muslim and Christian, fleeing disease, famine, and tribal conflicts in various countries in Africa.
