Band in China

South Park did it again: They got banned in China.

someone in the NBA tweeted support of the HongKong demonstrators, and China retaliated by banning NBA products from being sold in China, so the entire NBA organization apologized to China for one member being sympathetic.

so South park made fun of China and they too had to apologize

“Like the NBA, we welcome the Chinese censors into our homes and into our hearts,” the statement reads. “We too love money more than freedom and democracy.” At the end of the statement, Parker and Stone made a joke: “Long live the great Communist Party of China. May the autumn’s sorghum harvest be bountiful! We good now China?”
a commentary on the episode, including some explanations of the cutural references/puns for those of you who don't live in the USA.
