good news the typhoon missed us

The typhoon aiming at the heart of Manila veered south, and moved quickly through the country, meaning rain damage was limited.

So very bad damage, but to rural areas, not Manila where millions live in crowded slums, and where thousands could have died instead of only a dozen people.

 and we only had rain so maybe our remaining rice can be harvested.

The bad news. Another storm due next week.
