So when will we get the Vaccines?

.............

PhilInquirer reports they are buying it from many sources. At the end of the list is the Chinese vaccine, which doesn't work very well. And the J&J vaccine that works better than the Chinese vaccine but still doesn't give good protection.

the big barrier is if they can manage to keep the vaccines cold enough, and if they can give it out efficiently: This has been a problem in "blue state" America. And here, just like in parts of the USA, there is a suspicion of the vaccine because anti vax folks are distorting problems on the social media.

myself, I can't understand why those who have had the virus and who test positive for antibody are supposed to get the vaccine. Not giving it to them would save a lot of money...But never mind.

Update...why are there so fewcases in India.

And hydrochloloquin was used there as prevention and treatment early in the epidemic

I believe they also used ivermectin

in the meanwhile, a Chinese "research vessel" (actually a dredging ship) which was in Philippine waters illegally got a diplomatic pass to shelter in a Philippine port in the eastern Philippines because "bad weather". Except there was no bad weather, but never mind.

And voila, no coast guard could inspect the ship because "virus". How convenient.

the Inquirer has an editorial that explains the scam. And that the recent report that China intends to shoot anyone coming into their claimed waters (i.e. that they recently claimed despite the World Court opinion that their claim was bogus) has met with a weak response to increase in Chinese aggression.

related item: China is not just pushing territorial demands against the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, India and Viet Nam: It is also slowly destroying human rights in Hong Kong.
