the aim: Destroy believers.

if one is to control society, one way is to destroy intermediary institutions: family, church, social clubs, etc. that let people control their lives at a local level.

so is this why we see this? Or is it just anti Catholic bigotry rearing it's head?

One centerpiece of the Biden administration’s legislative agenda is HR 5, the Equality Act of 2021. Its central move is to expand the definition of sex discrimination to include discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity....that will allow them to destroy any individual or institution that opposes the imposition of the sexual agenda.

The great tragedy of the misnamed Equality Act is that its ardent supporters are blind to the difference between living your own life and making others bow to your command. And a lot of innocent people will be caught up in the undertow of that progressive mistake.

the irony? The gender agenda is essentially a religion: And by imposing it in the name of equality, they are ignoring that they are imposing religion on society against the first amendment that forbids this.

We see this in schools, where the gender agenda goes against the parents belief systems, and those opposing it are called extreme.

But the fight against the family is in all institutions, and will be pushed on third world countries.

See this: a pop site on a Manila newspaper quotes a young handsome guy for saying marriage is obselete.

how nice for young affluent sociopaths to say this. Maybe he needs to see the children left behind by others who agree with him that they don't have to care for others.

The family, not the government, is the social network that supports children, women, the elderly, the sick, the crippled etc. in third world countries, and even in the USA, where the press pushes the be selfish be free meme, but the reality is a lot of people sacrifice to raise kids or care for their loved ones.

And I should note that the argument in the paper blames the church for this idea, but I have worked in too many non Christian societies to agree with this...

but this idea is what the rebels of the 1960s called "hip"...so don't dare oppose the "in" thing.

The Philippines has a phrase for such folk: walang hiya.
