Kenya has had police there under a UN mandate for a few years, but were inadequatly funded and are due to leave.

not a lot in the US news, where googling Haiti is mainly about Trumpieboy trying to send back half a million Haitians who fled that country, and the problem that he was taking funding from NGOs helping there.

“The United States intends to share a draft U.N. Security Council Resolution with the U.N. Security Council that establishes a U.N. Support Office for a multinational security force in Haiti,” a State Department spokesperson confirmed to the Miami Herald.
something to remember when the left criticizes Trump for saying he plans to deport refugees and checking NGOs for fraud, or when the right criticize the UN.
