But I should note that the part in the NR article about mutilated African bodies might not be for organ donors, but for witchcraft. When I worked in Liberia 40 years ago, nearly every week they would find a mutilated body, usually of a street kid, in Monrovia, and the locals would sigh and say it was witchcraft; You bury body parts under the store so the devil will make you rich....
They finally caught one of the gang when one kid escaped.
