hot season: So turn off the city water

it is the end of the hot season (monsoon and typhoons should be starting any time). So there is the normal water shortage, which the press is crying global warming but it is actully normal this time of year.

So the city has announced that they are turning off the water for a week.

Probably checking for broken pipes etc.

But very inconvenient.

Lolo put in a water pump, but it needs fixing and although Kuya is fixing a lot of stuff right now, the pump is not a priority.

I had our main handiman fix it but it may or may not be pumping enough. Kuya filled the overhead tank but we empties it  to do the wash today. We usually do it on Saturday, but decided to do it early.

So now there is the question if the old water pump can supply us water, or will we have to get containers and fill it at the farm where we have another pump for clean water

Spit baths for the next week.

Oh the joys of living in a tropical paradise.
