The Pope in Paris:

the Pope is in Paris, and lots and lots of folks are there.

PBS reports 800 thousand attended his mass in Paris.

the NYTimes however is sarcastic as ever pushing the idea:

trying to be everyone's pope?? seeking to appeal? who is the gender expert Karen who wrote this article?

A Catholic would say it was an outreach to remind people about the importance of Christ and how the church helps people to know love and serve the Lord.

But that's just me.

Doing his thing: Multicultural outreach.

 Catholicism is not European or white Anglo Saxon church. 

Which is why the Pope is pushing outreach to migrants, even though in the US a lot of ordinary folk in the USA are upset on how the church used their money to help  the drug cartels smuggle people into the USA along with drugs and gang members hiding with real refugees and those seeking to better themselves ,

( There is also a lot of resentment because migrants are easily underpaid and steal their jobs but that could be fixed with amnesty and rules)

In the USA, the religious revival tends to be evangelical and Catholic and partly inspired by Charlie Kirk, who was killed for daring to outreach both politics and conservative religious ideas to college students.

but in France, like in the US, the younger folk are slowly returning to church.
