Lolo's 85th birthday yesterday.
Small party at lunch for the staff, and we celebrated by supper at Pizza hut in Cabanatuan last night....
He is well, but only able to jog a quarter mile a day, not one mile as he did in the past.
I took photos, but can't get them off my cellphone to the computer...I'll try to post the photos from the camera later today.

Chano and Joy in Manila court suing a deadbeat renter, trying to get her to vacate the apartment.
Had to replace the pump for the fishpond/fountain yesterday...a big mess, but this morning the fish came up happily for their food, so I guess it's working okay. (In hot weather, we have to watch out for fish dieoffs).
Went to the bank today changing around the savings accounts to make it easier for Lolo to write a will.

Brownout time
Brown outs due to low water levels (i.e. hydroelectric dams).
We have a generator but usually the internet doesn't work when the electricity is out.
So if posts are missing, it's probably internet problems.

The mayor (actually his wife is running to keep the money in the family) is now paying 2000 pesos for a vote.
Inflation: The usual amount is 500 pesos (ten dollars).
I'm not sure if the problem is that he is on bail for being behind a political murder or if it's just inflation.
