I just watched CNN International's news report., and low and behold, they spent ten minutes on it...the report on the trial was mostly about the testimony (which will be reshown today at noon) and then the Baghdad reporter, who usually with a straight face condemns anything to do with the coalition troops, actually interviewed some people at a cafe watching the trial on tv, and had three locals who went on tv with comments against Hussein (God be with them and protect them from harm)...
The bad news is most of the non European news stories are by Reuters or AFP, and are similar if not the same as the ones I already posted...
Al Jazeera covered both aspects...but if you link HERE you will see the sad anti American comments by Americans...
Maybe they should go to Detroit and talk to some of the locals...someone should, since I couldn't find any local news stories about them...

UPDATE: I DID find a story about the Muslims in Dearborne near Detroit...but it was in an Reuters story LINK posted on a Yahoo India website !
However, the Detroit Free Press is covering the anxiety caused by Showtimes' "sleeper cell" series, that will make a lot of people more suspicious about Muslims..
