We spent four days in Bohol touring with one of Lolo's medical school classmates.
Just like Lolo after graduating went to work in Sulu, she went to work in Sevillia, Bohol as a municipal doctor. However, Lolo later went to the USA to support his family, and she stayed in Bohol and married and raised a family.
We visited the island's historical churches and monuments, then went to the Chocolate hills, and the next day we stayed at a beach resort.
Like Borochay, the beaches are full of Asian tourists, and we did see some Americans and Aussies there. (Here in Gapan, we see few Americans, only the LDS missionaries and a couple men married to local girls who live here. But then, we are not much for a tourist to see, since we mainly grow the best rice in the Philippines).
Lolo's classmate had an ambitious plan to really see more, but Lolo got tired, so we went to a beach resort and enjoyed the sand, sun, and room service (I love room service). TGFV: Thank God for VISA...
Today, Lolo is recovering from the trip and Joy is off to a trade fair to sell our organic brown rice.
Me? I'm doing nothing. Ah, retirement. Wonderful.
