Don't worry about snakes on a plane

Worrry about bombs on a ferry.

Lolo was watching the impeachment hearings yesterday, and on a news report they had the police show a man arrested while getting onto a ferry with bombmaking materials in his backpack....yes, including cellphone, which means nothing since everyone owns a cellphone to text here...
Yet this morning, nada in the newspapers. False alarm? Censorship?

There was a ferry fire in 2004 that was supposed to be terrorism, but given the fact that one or two ferries here sink each year, and the fire started in a kitchen, the claim by the terrorists is dubious to say the least. And security is high...at least it is supposed to be high. When we went to the SM Mall in Manila, they inspected our handbags, but they even do that here in Gapan.
