Bad News: Whoops...hollywood assumed he was white...

Good news: My new Dell computer works great.
Bad News: Dell laptops are being recalled due to exploding batteries

Good News:One of the links at the left is to writer/artist Michael O'Brien. I get his newsletter, which is usually about religion and art. (He paints modern icons).
Bad News:It seems that his website was attacked by Isalmofascists...

Good news: Peaceful Iraqi demonstration in Ohio
Bad news: They were harassed by Christian fundamentalists.
The Chaldeans I spoke with were more than a little amused that some of them escaped Saddam and Al Qaeda only to come to a Catholic event in America and have their faith questioned by a bunch of fundamentalists. This coupled with the fact that the Chaldean’s faith was brought to their land by the Apostles and these fundamentalists were inspired by the likes of 19th and 20th century prophets of anger, John Darby and Ian Paisley.

Good news: Podhoretz notes that the Bush doctrine is not dead, and compares it to the Truman doctrine...
Bad News: The Corner comments:
I don't think the essay fully addresses the challenge the Bush doctrine faces from Islamic radicals winning power at the ballot box...well, maybe Lowry should read about the Vatican and US paying for the defeat of communist in the 1948 election in Italy, or the Civil war in Greece...
