I usually avoid "religious" films like the plague, since they are either overly intellectual (boring)modernist rewrites (The Last Temptation of Christ) or so bad they make me want to be an athiest.
Well, anyway, there will be a new film released in December on the Nativity.
Big deal, remind me to take a nap was my impression.
But it is being released by NewLine, the girl from the movie Whale Rider plays Mary and the director's past films include the Lord of Dogtown and Thirteen...which is not exactly a film that Pat Robertson would enjoy.
Hmmm....
We'll see.
