King Tut died of a broken leg

I'm listening to Bob Brier's tapes on Egyptian history, which he admits is a popular passtime for many since it is exotic and unrelated to their daily grind.

He had questioned if the X rays shows King Tut had been hit on the head...later scans after his book was released said no, the fracture was antemortum, probably caused when Carter took Tut out of his mummy case.

But now other scans show Tut had a broken leg, a femur fracture, probably an open wound that killed him.

Since it would have been fairly easy to arrange a wreck of his chariot when he was drag racing, like Diana's death, it was probably a homicide; at least that is how it will be spun by conspiracy theorists.

It's all Bush's fault.
