Prayer Rally for Truth

Ousted Philippine President Joseph Estrada, center, Makati city Mayor Jejomar Binay, right, and Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim, left, hold a "Walk for Truth Power" banner as they march towards the University of Makati campus at the financial district of Makati city east of Manila, Philippines, Thursday Feb. 28, 2008. Estrada and various opposition groups, led by religious and left-wing activists, are holding a big rally Friday while the Philippine military warned Thursday that troops face arrest if they join the major rally to press for Arroyo's resignation over a raging corruption scandal. Kuya had some business meetings and deliveries yesterday in Manila, so I warned him when he left before dawn to do the Makati stuff first, so they wouldn't get caught in traffic.

Sounds like a lot of people went: The police, who had 5000 there, said only 15000 attended; others estimated up to 80 000...and the TV photos showed larger crowds in the early evening.

A lot of people want the president to resign, but others just want "the truth"....ball in the President's court right now...
