and the Tolkien Professor's website has lots of podcasts, including his college course on Tolkien, discussing Fairie and Fantasy and the Simarillion...and now the Riddles in the Dark podcast, discussing the new movie...

he is also on iTunes but my links there never seem to post new podcasts, so I use the rss feed...

Father Roderick has several good podcasts at SQPN, including Secrets of the Hobbit, and Secrets of Harry Potter.

both of these are also on iTunes, and no, they aren't religion in stealth, just geekdom discussions.

not podcasts alas, but old fashioned essays.

they review films, tv and comics, but have a HobbitHole to discuss the upcoming film.
